Asian Movie Works was founded in 1997 to promote Asian film and film industries. AMW International was formally incorporated in Thailand April, 2001.
Raising international awareness to Asian film product and to the respective entertainment industries through licensing of film product, written articles for major entertainment and tourism trade publications and attendance at film festivals and markets, AMW International strives to establish synergistic business ties between the entertainment and tourism industries of Asia and the West.
We are your cultural bridge!

In June 2001, AMW International organized a "Road Show to Hollywood” for DEP. Fifty-five leading Thai film and television executives had an opportunity to not only promote Thai entertainment product and services to the main stream market in Hollywood but to experience first hand new digital technologies that are presently revolutionizing the industry. The Roadshow was an ideal opportunity for the Thai industry players to meet their peers and network new business.
As global markets expand, synergistic business relationships are crucial for creation of dynamic business ventures. AMW International assists clients in taking advantage of these relationships by identifying interesting projects, opportunities and ventures in entertainment fields throughout the region.
Because of its unique nature as the only international entertainment consultancy based in Asia, AMW International has been very successful in providing market information and intelligence for clients.
AMW International is continually searching for entertainment product for representation. As our knowledge of available product grows, so does our ability to raise awareness at appropriate venues throughout the world to quality film product.
We can also aid you by reviewing your product, helping to "package" it for presentation to potential financiers and distributors.
We are the only Asian based consultancy with its finger on the pulse of multiplex theater development and expansion throughout the region and as such, act as adviser to US based Neilson Business Media, organizers of CineAsia, the prime theater exhibition show in Asia. Along with CineAsia, Neilson Group produces three other shows, the Hollywood mainstay ShoWest held in Las Vegas, ShowEast for the Latin American market and Amsterdam based CineExpo for the European market.
Because of our close working relationship with the film industry of Thailand and as a focal point for established Hollywood and European entertainment companies, AMW has begun to play a role in location coordination for major motion pictures, television and advertising shoots as well as providing our international clients with the best bi-lingual cast and crew available in Thailand.
A new service being provided by AMW for Asian film and television crews wishing to film in the USA is "sponsoring agent" to the USA Department of Immigration and Naturalization (INS). Filing of papers with INS is necessary before legal visas for USA entry can be granted for filming to take place in the USA. Contact us for more details.
For all our services, we act as a facilitator, networking our clients into the talent and resources available in selected locales.
